Step Hard

I can't decide if this quote scares me or encourages me...

"The footsteps your children are most likely to follow are the ones you tried to cover up."

Makes me wonder what footsteps I try to cover up. And if it is better to try to cover them, or just be honest about them. Because I think that quote is mostly true, so covering the "misguided" footsteps might do more harm than good.

But the encouraging part - our kids will follow our footsteps. Ours are their favorites ones. So make sure your feet are going the right direction and then step hard!
